Pilot Set

This Tone Hole Pilot Set contains 20 Delrin pilot discs manufactured at MusicMedic in Wilmington, NC.  These pilots are helpful for centering the Tone Hole Files from the Complete Tone Hole File Set.

Each Pilot has the size engraved on the top and the larger sizes have a void to fit your fingers in for fast removal. The center holes in the pilots have threads of 1/4-20 to match the screws in any JS Sax Files Set. The smallest pilots have a center hole with threads of 10-32, and an adapter screw is included with the set to use the smaller pilots with the standard JS Files. Simply find the pilot which best fits inside the tone hole, thread it onto the correct mounting screw, and level tone holes easily, safely, and quickly.
