The Parallel Round Nose Pliers have a long round nose that is excellent for bending springs and thin metal, and also for grabbing keys and parts. These heavy duty pliers come with wide, spring-loaded handles. They are stainless, sturdy, and are comfortable to hold. As with the regular Round Nose Pliers, these Parallel Round Nose Pliers can fit in tight spots, but they have the added advantage of parallel action which allows for more surface contact and allows you to bend curved key arms without marring or scratching the brass.
Parallel Round Nose Pliers will allow you to accomplish some tricky key bends. They also work well for adding a curve to needle springs, flat springs, and waterkey springs. If you work on vintage saxophones, you may often find these useful for straightening out bent or crooked spring cradles. The pliers are also handy for adding a bend to thin metal, such as matching a guard or post foot to the curve of the body of the instrument.
