Friends this one is short notice but maybe some of you will be in the area...
I've been asked to talk to the saxophone studio at The University Of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) about saxophone intonation. I'm going to talk to the students about some things that can be done to improve the intonation of a saxophone and some projects that I'm working on. We'll quickly get into tone hole design and simple bore modifications in an effort to solve intonation and tonal issues.
I know it's short notice but I hope you can be there!
This short talk will be in the Jazz Rehearsal Hall (CA 1086) November 2nd at 3:30-4:30.
No charge and open to the public.
