Château Antique Finish Tenor
The Antique Finish Tenor Saxophone by Château instantly impresses with its gorgeous matte vintage finish and enlarged bell flare. The body is constructed of red brass, with a %92 copper content. The posts are fixed to ribs which are then attached the body, for added strength.
This beautiful tenor is for sale for $2650, including shipping and a set-up at the Sax ProShop.
The horn features key touches with black pearls, a tear-drop shaped front F, and a left-hand table with a tilting Bb spatula that also has an added brace to reinforce the Left Hand Pinky Cluster.
The engraving is extensive and can be found inside the bell flare as well as on the bell and bow.
There are adjustment screws on the F# to G#/Bis Bb and the low B to C#. The key feet on the right hand stack are also adjustable.
The rolled tone holes are protected by wonderfully crafted, ornate, and adjustable guards and the horn has water-resistant tan sax pads with riveted domed metal resonators.
An adjustable metal thumb hook, a clothing guard, and a left-hand metal thumb hook are also built in.
The saxophone comes with blued steel needle springs and a Selmer-style 8va mechanism.
A plastic square-chambered mouthpiece with plastic cap and antiqued ligature and a padded neck strap are also included.
The instrument comes in a black hard shell case with a molded foam interior covered in soft, black fabric. The case locks up with a key for safety. This saxophone sounds as good as it looks!
