The International Saxophone Symposium, hosted by the United States Navy Band, returns Jan. 9-10, 2015, and the Sax ProShop is packing up for the road trip to Winchester, Virginia! We were bummed last year when it was cancelled due to budget issues, so we are revving up for this year by bringing the whole team plus a whole lot more! Of course the technicians from the Sax ProShop team will be bringing their benches, tools, and expertise, but this year we will also be bringing a number of our Uberhauled horns including a Conn 6M Alto, Selmer MKVI Tenor and a Martin Tenor. Along with our restored horns, we will have a few of Steve Goodson's Saxgourmet VooDoo Rex Tenor, a Chateau Soprano and Alto, and the Theo Wanne MANTRA tenor in a beautiful Platinum Finish.
With all of the specialists there with their benches, we encourage you to stop by our booth with your saxophone. Having a problem with your horn? We can do some minor repairs on-site, inspect horns for repairs needed, do intonation assessments, and much more. Been wanting an Uberhaul? You can get your quote in person and we can even bring your horn back to the shop with us to begin work. If you want to make sure to secure some time with the crew, email Matt Hess to get on the schedule for quotes, assessments, and repairs. We will do our best to accommodate as many people as possible, and remember to schedule your time after your performance (unless there's an emergency, of course!)
However, drop-ins are welcome, and we always encourage people to stop by anytime to ask a question, check out some of our cool new products, get the scoop on what we do at the Sax ProShop, or just to say hello.
Looking forward to seeing you next weekend!
