Things are buzzing around here at MusicMedic.com, and that's because we're getting ready for the NAPBIRT annual conference in Normal, IL. On Wednesday, April 8, Jeff Massa (General Manager), Leah Sweeney (Shipping Manager / Customer Service), and I head off Illinois to set up our booth. The conference takes place from Friday-Sunday and we're looking forward to catching up with some old friends and making some new ones!
Attendees should be sure to look in the NAPBIRT conference notebook and carefully follow the instructions: they will lead you to excellent free swag and prizes!
On Sat, April 11, I'll head back to Wilmington, NC to prepare for my trip to Germany and the Netherlands, but Leah and Jeff will be at the conference for the duration, keeping our usual MusicMedic.com booth style and providing fine refreshments and great information for all who desire it!
I'll head across the seas on Sunday to get to Musikmesse 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany. This giant music industry trade show takes place from April 15-18. Please stop by the booth and say hello if you'll be there! If there are any supplies or small tools you want to make sure I'll have with me, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know.
After the show, I'll be off to Amsterdam, Holland in the Netherlands, with much thanks to my hostess Sylvia Nooteboom. I'll be presenting a clinic on saxophone repair at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. After that, I'll spend the next few days visiting repair shops throughout the Netherlands.
So far on my itinerary:
Saxomania in Amsterdam (http://www.saxomania.com)
MRO Saxofoons in southern Netherlands (http://mrosaxofoons.nl)
Matthews Muziek in Edam (http://www.matthewsmuziek.nl)
Blazers Atelier in Tilburg (http://www.blazersatelier.nl)
Saxofoonwinkel in Deventer (http://www.saxshop.nl/en-uk/index.html)
If there's somewhere I should be visiting that's not already on my list, send me an email and let me know.
After this whirlwind of a trip, I'll arrive back home on April 26, just in time to start packing for the next one...
