The NAMM show is coming up soon and will be extra cool this year! The 2016 show takes place from Jan 21-24 in Anaheim, CA. We're going to have a huge booth this year for a good reason: we're bringing a lot of friends with us! The MusicMedic.com and Friends booth will be twice the party and we'll have more instruments there than ever for everyone to come check out.
We've spent a lot of time making tools and pads in the past year and ramping up our in-house production. We'll be featuring a lot of our favorite new products and pads, such as the Stainless Alto and Tenor Body Mandrel Sets, the Rivet Punch, and RooPads for Piccolo. Some prototypes we're working on that we'll have to show off are the Open Hole Flute Punch and the Flute Body Mandrel. What we're not brining is the new lathe we're working. It's so sweet but it's a tad heavy for Jeff to put in his suitcase....
New for this year, we'll have lots of special guests with whom we have the honor of working with and calling friends. There will be Jim Schmidt, featuring his wildly innovative saxophones with J.S. Gold pads that we distribute on our website. Ada Ahn Clarinets are one of our newest partners. These clarinets are set up at MusicMedic.com and padded with RooPads for Clarinet and MusicMedic.com Cork Pads. Theo Wanne company will be there with the Mantra Tenor Saxophone that is proudly set up at the Sax ProShop, and Theo has agreed to make several guest appearances at the booth. Steve Goodson will have his Super 400 series 2 alto on display and if he doesn't have too many wild parties to attend in New Orleans, he'll be joining us as well. Last but certainly not least, the Sax ProShop is bringing a great new alto sax that Curt and the team have been working with the manufacturer on. This little horn is gathering a lot of attention! Come by and see what lots of players have been raving about!
As usual, we'll be hosting drinks at the booth around 5:00pm every day and invite you to come by and join us. Everyone from the booth will be staying at a house we rented in Anaheim and we would like to welcome our friends to join us for partay there as well. We'll have some surprises at the booth, so come say hi!
