Curt is heading to Red Wing today, and he wrote today's blog about the upcoming weekend:
"Tomorrow, I will be going home. Well, not to my home but the folks at Red Wing sure make is feel like home. Every year, I journey to the school to talk with the students and teachers at the repair school, where learning and open mindedness are the rule.
I really love going to Red Wing because the guys, Lucas, John and Greg, scour the globe for the most advanced and efficient techniques in our industry. I learn what students need and what's new in our industry. I learn about having an open mind and being thoughtful in what I do. I always learn the importance of preparation and thoughtfulness.
So I get to learn quite a bit before I get to share with them my own ideas of the future of instrument repair, and what it means to do good work. I can't wait to see so you guys (teachers) and meet you guys (students), see a giant boot, see some snow, see the ridiculously large mall, taste the libations at the Liberty, and maybe wreck another rental car while I'm in town.
See you soon Red Wing!"
